Embarking On A New Journey Of Smart Manufacturing | Zhejiang Cheering Sewing Machine Co., Ltd. Kicks Off Digital Factory 3.0 Project

Recently, in a bid to implement its corporate development strategy and comprehensively enhance its core competitiveness, Zhejiang Cheering Sewing Machine Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Cheering Sewing") grandly held the kick-off meeting for its Digital Factory 3.0 Project. This meeting officially sounded the charge for Cheering Sewing to leap from Digital Factory 2.0 to an integrated 3.0 level, aiming to build a benchmark enterprise in the industry through data-driven management.

The meeting outlined a grand blueprint for the company's digital transformation. According to the plan, Cheering Sewing will officially launch the upgrade from Digital Factory 2.0 to 3.0 in October 2026. This upgrade is not merely a technological iteration but a profound transformation of management philosophy. The project aims to achieve data-driven management, significantly improve the efficiency of all departments, and ultimately achieve comprehensive process-oriented, standardized, digital, and visualized operations. The ultimate goal is to build the company into a "3.0 Integrated Digital Factory Benchmark Enterprise."

During the kick-off meeting, the project team detailed the construction goals of Digital Factory 3.0, covering five key dimensions: Overall Goals, Foundation Goals, Business Goals, Data Goals, and Management Goals:

Overall Goal: Achieve integrated enterprise connectivity for Digital Factory 3.0, realizing visualized operations, anomaly warnings, and data-driven management.

Foundation Goal: Perfect the industrial foundation, achieve connectivity for key equipment, and thoroughly bridge the gap between IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology).

Business Goal: Achieve integrated automation across the entire chain, including R&D, production, sales, quality, finance, and equipment management.

Data Goal: Establish an enterprise-level data platform to achieve real-time visualization and anomaly warnings for production and management data.

Management Goal: Promote process re-engineering, strengthen data-driven management, and achieve a fundamental shift from "post-event statistics" to "in-process control."

To ensure the smooth implementation of the project, the meeting announced detailed construction scopes and timelines. The project will cover workshops, business modules, system scopes, and software/hardware ranges.

According to the implementation plan, the project will be divided into four key phases:

Foundation Preparation Phase (Oct. - Dec. 2026): Completion of basic data import and process re-engineering;

Go-Live & Trial Operation Phase (Jan. - Mar. 2027): Official system launch and trial operation;

Optimization & Integration Phase (Apr. - Jun. 2027): System optimization and business integration;

Consolidation & Acceptance Phase (Jul. - Sep. 2027): Project consolidation and final acceptance.

As a crucial part of the construction and integration of the 3.0 core business system, R&D digitalization (PLM/PLD) has been listed as a key priority. The project will achieve full-process digitalization of R&D task assignment, progress tracking, and acceptance management. It will also strengthen BOM management, process route planning, version control, and drawing archiving. Most importantly, it will enable one-click synchronization of R&D data to the production system, greatly improving the conversion efficiency from R&D to production.
