As the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) enters its full implementation phase in 2026, Chinese export enterprises are facing unprecedented "green trade barriers." This training was closely aligned with this contemporary context, aiming to help Lishui's foreign trade enterprises accurately grasp new international regulations and transform compliance pressures into competitive advantages for market expansion.
Focusing on EU Carbon Tariffs to Tackle Green Barriers. During the training, experts provided an in-depth interpretation of the core regulations, calculation methodologies, and declaration requirements of the EU CBAM. It was noted that CBAM requires specific products exported to the EU to "pay" for the carbon emissions generated during their production processes. This is no longer merely an environmental issue but a binding rule that directly affects export costs and market access. The training covered the entire chain of practical operations, from product carbon footprint calculation to data quality management, guiding enterprises to establish traceable and verifiable carbon data management systems to fully prepare for crossing this "green threshold."

Representatives from Lishui Customs delivered special presentations on AEO advanced certification, customs clearance facilitation measures, and customs protection of intellectual property rights, helping enterprises make the most of policy benefits and present a compliant image of "Lishui Manufacturing" on the international stage. Meanwhile, in response to the complex and volatile international exchange rate environment, experts in foreign exchange management analyzed recent foreign exchange market trends and provided practical currency risk management strategies to help participating enterprises strengthen their financial risk prevention capabilities and lock in export profits.
